ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO BALLET SCHOOL

 

 

San Diego Ballet School is located in the Dorothea Laub Dance Place, a state-of-the-art dance facility located in Liberty Station.

The San Diego Ballet School’s purpose is to provide dancers with a training center in the city of San Diego that offers quality instruction, and advanced classes in dance by caring professionals. We are concerned not only with teaching dance at the highest level but also with promoting self discipline and self-esteem in our students.

Our school specializes in ballet and other theatrical dance forms, with a particular emphasis for children interested in future career training. We will of course welcome all students who take ballet for exercise, appreciation of the art, good posture and grace, and especially those who just love to dance!

SDBS is a year round dance school with Children, Adult and Pre-Professional Programs. Students have opportunities to audition and participate in the annual The Nutcracker, Junior Company and Student Concerts. San Diego Ballet School will continue to bring the finest instructors in San Diego teaching on a regular basis. As well as attracting renowned guest artists to hold master classes.
