What ignited your passion for dance?
I fell in love with dance at a very young age. It’s always been something that has felt so natural to me, and I feel like I get to be fully be myself when I’m dancing. Growing up in a supportive and inspiring dance environment also helped keep that passion stay alive over the years.

What inspired you to pursue a professional career in dance?
My parents and college professors really encouraged me to pursue a professional career in dance. They always saw a potential in me that I couldn’t yet see myself, and that really gave me the confidence to go for it. I wouldn’t be the dancer or person I am without them.

What is your favorite thing about being a dancer?
What I love the most about being a dancer is the amazing community that comes with it. As dancers we are truly blessed to have the opportunity to pursue our dreams but getting to do it with lifelong friends by your side makes it even better. Your dance friends will always be your cheerleaders in the wings and I am beyond grateful for all the amazing friends I have made along the way.

What is your biggest dream for your dance career?
My biggest dream was to become a professional dancer, and I’m am proud to be living it. Now my goal is to keep improving, performing and sharing my love for dance with others.

When you’re not pirouetting and perfecting your pliés, what brings you joy?
When I’m not dancing I spend most of my time with family and friends. My family doesn’t let any birthday, holiday or special occasion go uncelebrated so we stay busy throughout the year. I also love spending warm days at the beach or playing pickleball with friends.

What is the most transformative experience you’ve had as a dancer?
I’ve had a few big milestones in my dance career but one that was most transformative was getting my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. It was a huge accomplishment for me and it has transformed the way I approach performing and teaching.

What is your favorite ballet?
My favorite ballet will always be Swan Lake. It’s iconic, and the music, storytelling and movement never gets old to me.

So far my favorite has been Arabian in Nutcracker. I never pass up an opportunity to be in Arabian. But a dream role of mine would be Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.
