San Diego Ballet is pleased to launch a brand new fundraising program. We are partnering with our resident composer and jazz legend, Charles McPherson, to offer this unique experience to our patrons.

With your donation, Charles McPherson and the San Diego Ballet musicians will perform at your private event for an extraordinary evening of pure acoustic jazz!

  • A private concert for you and your guests with a Jazz legend who’s performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and every major club and festival in the world
  • Celebrate an evening of Jazz with a Quartet (sax, bass, drums and piano), Quintet (Quartet plus trumpet) or our full Sextet (Quintet including congas)

  • A private concert up close and intimate, all acoustic – the true Jazz sound
  • Experience Charles, contrabass and piano for this incredible opportunity with an internationally known legend

San Diego Ballet is committed to presenting new works every year in partnership with live musicians onstage.
