More About Bridget…

Who influenced you most to become the dancer you are today?

My teacher Stanley Holden. His love for ballet was contagious. You couldn’t help but smile in his class.

What was the funniest episode(s) you’ve experienced in your career?

Once when I was in high school the fog machine leaked onto the stage during the snow scene from the nutcracker, but no one could see it because the fog was covering the floor. About 8 girls fell immediately. Snow really did fall that day.

Who would you most like to share the stage with (living or dead)? Why?

Sylvie Guillem, I love the way she moves, it’s almost as if she’s a beautiful creature rather than a human.

What goes through your mind just before you perform?

“Don’t forget to breathe.”

What do you like/admire most about San Diego Ballet?

I love the rep. There’s a little bit of everything.
