San Diego School of Ballet's Summer Intensive will be held August 11 -24th.
Ages 12-18 – Intermediate to Advanced dancers
Ballet Faculty:
Robin Morgan & Javier Velasco, directors of San Diego Ballet
Ahita Ardalan Bergman, ballet mistress of San Diego Ballet and former dancer with Paris Opera Ballet and assistant to Roland Petit of Monte Carlo Ballet
Claire Torres, San Diego School of Ballet faculty and former dancer with Richmond Ballet
Katy Ewalt, of PAARTS- Performing Arts & Athletic Restorative Training Specialist
Guest Instructors- to be announced.
The summer program will run from 9:30am-4:00pm with everyday classes in classical ballet technique. Other dance disciplines taught will be pointe, variations, pilates, stretch, modern, character, jazz, hip-hop, Irish and choreography as well as nutrition, and preventive injury and injury care class.
Classes will be held in the new state of the art facility at Dance Place San Diego in Point Loma. Program will culminate with a performance/demonstation in beautiful Balboa Park.
Tuition $500 for two week program
