COMMUNITY OUTREACH

  Touted as a "model in its field," the San Diego Ballet's educational outreach program works to reach students through in-school performances, lessons, curriculum guides for teachers, scholarships and benefit performances. We are pleased to have provided St. Vincent de Paul, The Children's Museum, the Polanski Center, and others with such performances.
Since 1996, SDB has reached over 100,000 students in San Diego City and County. . SDB's educational outreach director Gail Mackler and San Diego Young Audiences handle the booking and arrangements for approximately 44 school performances per year. Teachers are consistently positive: "The most inspirational assembly we have had." "The students were mesmerized." "Brilliant." "Outstanding!".
