Jillian's Thoughts: When I was in the fourth grade my teacher asked my class to write an essay about what we wanted to be when we grew up. While most of the kids wrote about becoming doctors, lawyers, or policemen, I wrote that I wanted to be the Sugar Plum Fairy. I'm not sure my teacher even knew who the Sugar Plum Fairy was! I look back now and know that it wasn't just that I wanted to be the Sugar Plum Fairy. I saw those professional dancers who performed roles like the Sugar Plum Fairy and I knew then at the young age of 9 that that's what I wanted to do when I grew up. This is why I like the above quote so much, because while some dreams stay dreams others can become reality if you just believe in them and in yourself.
